WWE Survivor Series is the second-largest PPV of WWE, the first being the WrestleMania. We have covered WWE Survivor Series 2020 match card, predictions, location, start time, and date in this post. This time it will be the 34th edition of the Survivor Series.
WWE’s calendars premier event, Survivor Series 2020, will be live on Sunday 22nd Nov 2020. The event will be held at WWE ThunderDome, Amway Center, Florida. Survivor Series will be live at 7 p.m. ET. The kick-off show will begin at 6 p.m. ET. In India, the PPV will be live telecasted on 23rd Nov 2020, Monday at 4:30 a.m. IST, and the kick-off show will start from 3:30 a.m. IST. Both of the shows will be available on the official network of WWE live.
The PPV has a traditional Survivor Series match in which we will get to see the top five picks of RAW and SmackDown in a five on five tag team elimination match.
So far, for the match card of the PPV, six matches have been confirmed. After SmackDown 20th Nov 2020, we might have new additions. This year NXT won’t be a part of the PPV, and the event will only be having superstars of SmackDown and RAW. Right before WWE becomes ready for WrestleMania, we are going to have a memorable pairing night.
WWE Survivor Series 2020 Match Card and Predictions
Following is the confirmed match card of Survivor Series 2020 along with the predictions:
1. Roman Reigns (Universal Champion) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE Champion):
Survivor Series 2020 has the layout of brand champion vs. brand champion. This match is on the card following the pattern of the event. At WWE Hell in a Cell 2020, Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre and became the WWE champion. He won the match after getting failed many times in the earlier months.
In the latest episode of RAW 16th Nov 2020, there was Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton, which was won by Drew McIntyre, and he became the new WWE Champion. Following which, McIntyre successfully punched his ticket for Survivor Series, and he is all set to face Roman Reigns at the PPV this Sunday.
Roman Reigns was back in action at SummerSlam 2020, and he became the Universal Champion by winning the match against Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt. Ever since his comeback, Reigns had continuously been showing his darker side.
Prediction: Roman Reigns might win the match.
2. Men’s Survivor Series: Matt Riddle, Braun Strowman, AJ Styles and Keith Lee (RAW) vs. TBD, King Corbin, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso and Seth Rollins (SmackDown)
Sheamus, Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, and Keith Lee placed their RAW men’s team at Survivor Series 2020 by winning the qualifying matches.
Matt Riddle got a second chance for qualifying, and he defeated Elias and Jeff Hardy in a triple threat match, following which his place in the team was confirmed.
In team raw, there is some internal tension prevailing between the members. Talking about SmackDown, Kevin Owens and Jey Uso became the first qualifiers. They both had some issues, which were seen on SmackDown’s Nov 6th, 2020 edition, further King Corbin and Seth Rollins also joined the team.
3. Women’s Survivor Series: Lana, Peyton Royce, Lacey Evans, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax (RAW) vs. 2 TBD, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott and Bianca Belair (SmackDown)
The first four women’s RAW team members at Survivor Series were confirmed on RAW on Oct 26th, 2020. Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke with tag champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax were confirmed first. The team’s fifth member was confirmed after a fatal four-way match between Peyton Royce, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, and Lana. Lana won the game and earned her position on the team.
On RAW 16th Nov 2020, Dana and Mandy got seriously injured, and their replacement, Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce were confirmed.
In team SmackDown at Survivor Series, Bianca Belair was the first one to join. Ruby Riott secured the position after defeating Zelina Vega and Natalya in a three-way match. Liv Morgan got the team spot by defeating Natalya, Tamina, Chelsea Green in a fatal four-way match.
4. Sasha Banks (SmackDown’s Women’s Champion) vs. Asuka (RAW Women’s Champion)
This is another champion vs. champion match confirmed for the card. Asuka vs. Sasha Banks WWE fans has been seeing for many times since the last few months. Sasha Banks defeated Asuka in July and became the RAW Women’s Champion. Asuka then retained her championship at SummerSlam 2020.
Banks was back to SmackDown, and she won the SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Bayley in Hell in a Cell match. Asuka and Sasha are not the new addition, but both of them always delivers with fascinating matches.
Prediction: Asuka might win the match.
5. The Street Profits (SmackDown tag team) vs. The New Day (RAW tag team)
In WWE Draft 2020, we have seen SmackDown tag team and RAW tag team switching their respective brands. The Street Profits and The New Day then exchanged their championship to maintain the alignment with their new brands and keep their champions’ status intact.
WWE fans are going to see such kind of match for the first time. If both the opponents have given a reasonable time to utilize their full potential, this might be the best tag team match of 2020.
Prediction: The Street Profits might win the match.
6. Bobby Lashley (United States Champion) vs. Sami Zayn (Intercontinental Champion):
In September 2020, Sami Zayn made his comeback and had his first match since March. He was side-lined because of his concerns related to the COVID-19, and his championship was stripped away. At Clash of Champions 2020, Sami retained his title by winning a ladder match.
Lashley defeated Apollo Crews at Payback 2020 and became the United States Champion. Bobby Lashley continued to be dominant after that, and his major focus was on what role he has in The Hurt Business and the issues they are having with The Retribution.
7. Final Farewell of The Undertaker
Survivor Series 2020 was initially advertised as the celebration for “30 years of The Undertaker”, so it is quite explicit The Undertaker will be present at the PPV.
WWE had already confirmed that Undertaker would join the event for his final farewell. He will be ending his career officially after spending 30 years with WWE, in which he had faced a few semi-retirements.
